Monte Greppino, above Savona

Monte Greppino is the green rise between Savona and Quiliano, wooded in maritime pine and broom with the concrete emplacements of a WWI-era coastal battery near the top. Easy tracks from Legino or the Naso di Gatto ridge lead up to the open summit, looking over the harbour, the Bormida valley and the whole arc of coast.
