Cima Grappa North Face

The northern approach to Monte Grappa from the Brenta valley side is less-visited than the Bassano approach and passes through extensive WWI tunnel and trench systems. The Piave river — which the Italian army held in October 1918 — is visible in the valley below. A network of military roads covers the entire massif.
