Monte Generoso

Monte Generoso straddles the Ticino–Como border, its 1,704 m summit reachable by a Victorian rack railway from Capolago on Lake Lugano. The summit meadow overlooks Lakes Lugano, Como, Varese, Monate and Maggiore simultaneously — five lakes from one summit. The Mario Botta flower of stone building houses the restaurant.
