Monte Faudo rises above the olive-terraced hills of the Imperia hinterland, its bald summit topped by antennas and a chapel. Paths climb from Pietrabruna or Vasia through broom and scattered pine to the top, where the view runs from the Riviera dei Fiori to the Ligurian Alps and the Mercantour.
