From the pastures of Val Piana above Gandino, easy paths climb through spruce to the open top of Monte Farno (1,250 m) and the sanctuary chapel just below it. It is a family favourite — short, grassy, with the Pizzo Formico ridge to walk on and a view over the Val Gandino and the Orobie.
