A broad path (and a chairlift) climbs from Camigliatello through Calabrian pine and beech to the 1,768 m top of Monte Curcio. From the bare summit ridge the Sila plateau rolls away west toward Botte Donato, while eastward the land drops to the Ionian coast around Crotone.
