Monte Conero (572 m) south of Ancona is the only limestone headland on the entire Adriatic coastline of Italy — the cliffs drop 200 m to crystal water. The hidden beaches of Urbani and Due Sorelle are accessible only by boat or steep descent. Eleonora's falcon (30+ pairs) on the cliff — the largest colony in the Adriatic. The Riviera del Conero wine is excellent. Dogs on leash in the park.
