Monte Conero — Spiaggia Due Sorelle
Marche
The Due Sorelle ('Two Sisters') beach at the base of Monte Conero's southern cliffs is one of the most photographed spots on the Adriatic — two chalk sea-stacks rising from turquoise water. The beach is accessible only on foot (the cliff trail from Portonovo) or by boat. The 575 m Monte Conero massif is the only limestone headland on the otherwise flat Adriatic coast between Trieste and the Gargano.
