Monte Brunette, Cascia

Monte Brunette (1,405 m) is the high point of the pastured hills between Cascia and Norcia. A track climbs from Roccaporena — the village of Santa Rita — through oak then open grass to the rounded top, from where the Sibillini wall from the Vettore to Monte Patino fills the eastern horizon.
