Monte Bondone (2,180 m) rises directly above Trento and has the Museo delle Scienze natural history museum at its foot. The Giardino Botanico Alpino at 1,500 m displays 2,000 alpine plant species. The summit panorama encompasses the Brenta Dolomites, Adamello and on clear days the Po plain to Venice. The cable car from Trento allows dog-friendly access to the mountain park.
