Tracciolino, Lago di Orsieres
Liguria
The Tracciolino above Tiglieto in the Ligurian Apennines is an old narrow-gauge mine railway (1920s) converted to a walking trail — the tunnels and iron bridges survive. The trail overlooks the Orsieres valley and reaches the Lago Orsieres (680 m). The surrounding UNESCO Beigua Geopark forest has ophiolite rocks (ocean floor fragments). Golden oriole and honey buzzard in summer.
