Monte Barone, Valsessera

Monte Barone rises sharply at the western end of the Valsessera ridge. The path climbs from Coggiola or the Bocchetto Sessera through beech then open pasture to a small summit bivouac, with the Monte Rosa chain to the north and the Vercelli rice plain shimmering to the south.
