Monte Baldo — Cresta Nord a Sud

The full Monte Baldo ridge traverse from Bocca Tratto Spino to Malcesine (18 km) follows the watershed at 1,700–1,900 m. The 'Garden of Europe' designation comes from the extraordinary botanical diversity — 1,000 plant species on a single ridge. The traverse is entirely above the treeline with Lake Garda visible 1,200 m below the whole route. Golden eagles patrol the ridge all day.
