Monte Altissimo di Nago (2,079 m) above Nago-Torbole on Lake Garda drops 1,800 m to the lake in the steepest gradient above any Italian lake — the summit view encompasses the full length of Lake Garda (52 km) and both the Dolomite north and the Po plain south. The cliff above Riva del Garda is a paragliding launch site. Peregrine on the east face. Chamois on the ridge. Dogs off-leash.
