The Sacro Monte di Crea near Serralunga di Crea is a UNESCO World Heritage sacred mountain with 23 chapels linked by a processional path through ancient chestnut and oak forest. The chapels contain 600+ life-size terracotta figures from the 17th century. The hilltop at 455 m commands a 360° view over the Monferrato towards the Alps and Apennines simultaneously.
