Miniere di Servette, Saint-Marcel

The Servette mines above Saint-Marcel worked copper pyrite and manganese into the 1950s. A path climbs to the ghost hamlet of miners' houses, washing sheds and adit mouths, the rock around them dyed green and pink by the ores, with an eco-museum explaining the site.
