Le Prigionette (Arca di Noè), Porto Conte

The former "Prigionette" prison farm is now a nature reserve of pine and juniper on limestone, with a flat loop road out toward Cala della Barca and the Capo Caccia cliffs. Sardinian albino donkeys, Giara-type horses and fallow deer graze the clearings, and griffon vultures nest on the cape.
