Lago di Pellaud, Rhêmes-Notre-Dame

Near the hamlet of Bruil, the Dora has been allowed to spread into a shallow lake and marsh that is now a protected biotope. A flat gravel-and-boardwalk trail circles it in half an hour, with the Granta Parey glacier reflected on still mornings and frogs, dragonflies and dippers along the way.
