Lago di Endine

Lombardy

Lago di Endine sits in a quiet valley between Bergamo and Lago d'Iseo, its shallow waters bordered by one of the province's most significant reed-bed nature reserves. A level cycle-and-pedestrian path circles almost the entire shoreline, passing fishing huts and small chapels along the way. Great crested grebes and herons nest in the reeds, and the surrounding hills carry vineyards and chestnut groves.
