From the Chavacour meadows above Torgnon the level path of the Ru Chevrère leads to the broad basin of Lago di Tsan at 2,400 m, where herds graze and marmots whistle. Longer loops climb to the Fenêtre de Tsan pass and its view of the Matterhorn.
