Lago di Tret

Tucked in a side valley of the Val di Non among apple orchards and spruce forest, Lago di Tret is small enough to circuit in well under an hour but rarely sees the crowds of Trentino's better-known lakes. The water is a deep, still green, fed by mountain streams rather than glacial meltwater. It's a good low-key stop rather than a destination in itself.
