The Sentiero Natura di Sylvenoire climbs from Covarey through one of the largest mountain-pine (mugo) forests in the Alps to Lago di Servaz, a still lake with a peat-bog margin crossed by wooden walkways. The Parco Naturale Mont Avic protects the whole serpentine plateau around it.
