Lago di Morasco, Val Formazza

The road up the Formazza ends at the Morasco dam, a great arc of stone holding back a milky glacial lake at 1,815 m. A flat track circles part of the shore toward the Bettelmatt alp — home of the famous cheese — and the path to the Gries pass and Switzerland.
