Lago di Martignano is the smaller and more intimate neighbour of Bracciano, connected to it underground. The lake is almost completely car-free — access is by a narrow road with limited parking. The circuit path through hazel and oak takes under two hours; the dog beach at the northern end is one of Lazio's finest.
