A steep road climbs from Borzonasca to Giacopiane at around 1,000 m, a hydro reservoir set in rolling meadow and beechwood. A quiet loop of road and path circles the water; in October the surrounding forest turns copper and gold. The smaller Lago delle Lame is a short walk on.
