Lago di Fimon, Colli Berici

Lago di Fimon (28 ha) is the only natural lake in the Colli Berici south of Vicenza. The lake was the site of a Bronze Age lake village (terramara). Great crested grebe, little grebe and mallard breed. Large common carp jump visibly. The surrounding Colli Berici forest has nightingale, golden oriole and hobby. The lake circuit is 5 km — flat and suitable for all dogs.
