Lago di Federa (Lago di Coldai style), Croda da Lago

From Ponte de Ru Curto or Malga Federa above Cortina, paths climb through larch and pasture to Lago di Federa at 2,040 m, with the sawtooth Croda da Lago rising straight from the far shore and the Rifugio Palmieri on the bank. In late September the larches turn the whole bowl gold.
