Lago di Caldaro (Kalterer See)

Shallow and sheltered, the Kalterer See reaches 28°C in summer and is fringed by reedbeds that are a nature reserve on its southern end. A flat path and cycleway loop the shore through Vernatsch and Lagrein vines below the Mendola ridge, with lidos, a biotope boardwalk and a dog beach.
