Lago di Burano WWF, Capalbio

Lago di Burano is a coastal lagoon WWF reserve near Capalbio — the most important wetland on the Tyrrhenian migration route. Over 270 bird species have been recorded. Flamingo, osprey, marsh harrier and rare waders use the lagoon in spring and autumn. The access boardwalk offers close views of the lagoon from hides. Guided visits available.
