Lago di Bomba (195 m) near Bomba on the Sangro river is a reservoir with a circuit path through Mediterranean scrub and oak. Osprey fishes in spring and autumn (reliable sight). Kingfisher resident. Little egret and grey heron on every bay. The Majella massif closes the western horizon. The reservoir has windsurfing in summer. Dogs welcome year-round on the circuit.
