Lago del Liscia near Calangianus in Gallura is the largest artificial lake in Sardinia — a reservoir in extraordinary cork oak and granite landscape. Osprey nesting has been recorded here — one of the rare Italian mainland nesting osprey sites. Red kite and peregrine. The cork oak harvest (every 9 years, age-old tradition) is visible around the lake. Dogs welcome on the path.
