Lago d'Idro is the highest lake in Lombardy, a narrow 11 km fjord squeezed between vertical rock walls north of Brescia. It's smaller and quieter than Garda but shares the same mild climate and clear water. The lakeside cycling path connects the fishing villages with views up to the Adamello snow.
