A steep path (and a service cable-lift not for the public) climbs from Ponte del Guat above Saviore to the dam of the Lago d'Arno at 1,820 m, a long green-grey lake in a granite trench with the Re di Castello and the Adamello glaciers beyond. Rough paths continue to the Rifugio Paolo Prudenzini.
