Laghi Gemelli, Orobie
Lombardy
From Roncobello or the Val Brembana a long mule path climbs through spruce and alpenrose to the Laghi Gemelli basin at about 1,970 m — the "twin lakes" now merged into one dam, ringed by the Lago Colombo, Lago Marcio and Lago Becco under Monte Corte. The Rifugio Laghi Gemelli makes it a classic Orobie day or overnight.
