Laghi di Colbricon, Paneveggio
Trentino-Alto Adige
From the Passo Rolle area a forest path climbs to the twin Colbricon lakes, cupped between the Lagorai porphyry and the pale Cimon della Pala. Excavations by the shore found 10,000-year-old hunters' camps; a small refuge sits between the two lakes, and WWI trenches lace the ridge above.
