Isola di Caprera — Compendio Garibaldino & Punta Rossa

Caprera, linked to La Maddalena by a causeway, is a national-park island of pink granite, Aleppo pine and macchia. Trails from the Garibaldi house (the "Compendio") lead to Punta Rossa's coastal batteries, Cala Coticcio (a strictly protected cove) and the summit of Monte Teialone.
