Isola Bella is a green knob of Mediterranean garden — once a private estate, now a WWF-managed reserve — linked to Mazzarò beach by a shifting spit you can usually walk. The pebble bay around it has clear water and a backdrop of Taormina's cliffs and, on clear days, Etna.
