This cave's main chamber drops almost forty metres from the entrance, dominated by a single stalagmite column rising some thirty-eight metres from the floor, among the tallest recorded anywhere. Bronze Age burial remains found deep in the cave point to ritual use by Nuragic communities thousands of years ago. The surrounding hillside above Dorgali is covered in typical Supramonte macchia of juniper and lentisk.
