Tuscany
The Grotta del Vento (Wind Cave) near Fornovolasco in the Apuan Alps is named for the constant wind that blows through the passages — a pressure differential between the cave openings. The cave is in marble (the same marble as Carrara). 4 km of passages on three routes (1 to 3 hours). The Garfagnana valley below is one of the most beautiful in Tuscany. No dogs inside.
