Within the Oasi WWF Guardiaregia-Campochiaro, alongside the better-known Pozzo della Neve, Cul di Bove drops 913 m into the Matese massif — among the twenty deepest caves in Italy and the second-largest system in the Matese. The entrance and approach through the karst reserve are reachable on foot; the abyss itself demands full vertical caving equipment and experience.
