Gravina in Puglia — Ponte Acquedotto & the ravine

Puglia

The Gravina torrent has cut a 100 m ravine through Gravina, its walls honeycombed with rupestrian churches, houses and the "Grotta di San Michele delle Grotte". The 18th-century Ponte Acquedotto, with its double row of arches (and a cameo in a James Bond film), leaps the canyon to the Botromagno hill and its ancient necropolis.
