Golfo Paradiso — Punta Chiappa Walk

The walk from Camogli to Punta Chiappa and San Fruttuoso traverses the Gulf of Paradise marine reserve on a clifftop trail with the sea 100 m below. Mediterranean monk seal sightings (very rare — perhaps 5 individuals) have been reported at San Fruttuoso. The abbey of San Fruttuoso (13th century) is accessible only on foot or by boat. The gulf water is the clearest near Genoa.
