Cala Luna is a white crescent beach backed by limestone cliffs with natural sea caves at its northern end — accessible only by a long coastal hike from Cala Gonone or by boat. The surrounding Golfo di Orosei national park has the most spectacular coastal scenery in Sardinia, with sheer 500 m dolomite cliffs.
