Gole di Tiberio, Fiume Pollina

Where the Pollina leaves the Madonie it squeezes between smooth grey walls only metres apart, the water deep and green below. A path from near Borrello (San Mauro Castelverde) follows the river to the mouth of the "Gole di Tiberio", a Madonie Geopark site; small rafts and canoes run the slot in summer.
