Gola di Gouta & Bosco di Gerbonte

Around the Gola di Gouta pass and the slopes of Monte Ceppo, the Bosco di Gerbonte is a rare high stand of native silver fir mixed with beech, home to deer and (in winter) wolves. Forest roads and the Alta Via link it to Colla Melosa and the Toraggio group, with occasional windows to the sea.
