Giro dei Condotti, Spoleto

Umbria

The Giro dei Condotti follows the line of the medieval water channels that fed Spoleto, contouring the wooded flank of Monteluco. It crosses the Ponte delle Torri — a 230 m stone aqueduct-bridge over a deep ravine — passes below the Rocca Albornoziana and stays almost flat the whole way, with the town and the Umbrian valley always in view.
