The Genna Silana pass (1,017 m) on the road between Dorgali and Baunei is the highest mountain road in Sardinia. The walk along the ridge reveals the extraordinary contrast of the interior Supramonte and the eastern coast simultaneously — on clear days, both the Tyrrhenian (west) and the Ionian extension of the Mediterranean are visible.
