Alpi Apuane — Monte Pisanino

Monte Pisanino is the highest peak of the Alpi Apuane, a range so geologically unique it has its own park separate from the Apennines. The marble ridges are pure white above the treeline, creating a surreal snow-like landscape even in summer. From the summit you see the Tyrrhenian, the Ligurian Apennines and the Tuscan lowlands.
