Colli Euganei — Cinto Euganeo Thermal Walk
Veneto
The Colli Euganei are ancient volcanic cones rising 500 m above the flat Po plain 15 km south of Padua. The hot springs of Abano Terme and Montegrotto emerge here (up to 87°C). Petrarch spent his last years in the village of Arquà Petrarca on these hills. The park has 100+ km of marked trails through vineyards and chestnut forest. The view from Monte Venda (601 m) encompasses the entire Po plain to Venice.
