The Cosa torrent has sliced a deep, twisting canyon through the rock here, crossed by a series of footbridges that thread beneath overhanging cliffs. The Grotta di Pradis at the gorge's edge shows evidence of prehistoric habitation, and the surrounding Val d'Arzino hills are some of the least-visited corners of the Friulian Prealps.
